Days of Culture

In Orebić and surrounding towns during summer numerous traditional religious festivities connected to the town's žpatron saint are held. Along religious festivities there are also public festivities in Orebića and smaller surrounding towns.

Traditionaly St. Ante is celebrated on June 13^th in Stankovići, Our Lady of Karmen on July 16^th in Karmen, St. Jacob on July 25^th in Mokalo, The Assumption of Mary on August 15^th in Podgorje and Postup, St. Roko on August 16^th in Crkvice and Mala Gospa on September 8^th in Nakovana.

Along with patron saints traditional Fisherman's nights should also be noted, held during August in Dingač, Lovište, Podobuče. Sailors nights and Night of the sails ate the central festivities in the summer on the first thursday in August. During the summer there are open-air theater performances and other cultural manifestations such as painter exhibitions, classicals music concerts and poetry meetings.
