Trstenik is one of the oldest settlements on Pelješac, with beautiful natural bays and beaches, clear blue sea, surounded by pine forest. It is a favoured resort of many tourists who seek peace and quiet beauty of nature and typical dalmatian atmosphere.

Trstenik was founded as a wine export port. First houses werer built farther from the coast for portection against pirates, and coastal settlement developed in 19^th century.

Trstenik is an ideal anchorage for sips and boats of all sizes. Town is 1 km away from the main Pelješac road.

Above the town there is "Ćućin" hill which is mouflon and wild boar habitat so tourists have the oportunity for hunting as well as for underwater fishing.
