All those seeking more active vacation, Pelješac offers various possibilities of recreation at sea: from swimming, windsurfing (ideal locations in Pelješac canal in front of the Punta Liberan and tourist complex Perna), water skiing, rowing and sailing, underwater fishing. Scuba diving offers exploration of various sea flora and fauna and underwater archaeological finds.

Recreation possibilities on land are also diverse: walking along nature trails, far away from cars and traffic, cycling, and mountaineering, especially to the highest peak of Pelješac, Mt Sveti Ilija (961m) with the help of the members of the Orebić mountaineer society who are guides for organized groups of climbers. From high slopes of Mt Sveti Ilija descend the daring flyers, who enjoy the flight and a beautiful view of Pelješac canal, numerous isles, Korčula, Mljet and Lastovo.
